Referral Membership



This program is open to anyone who is able to refer businesses in need of technology consulting or technology services to the SplinterRock team. Simply make the introduction and make recurring revenue on any services sold.

Consultant Membership



This program is best for consultants, brokers and businesses who provide valuable services to businesses. In addition to participating in the Referral Program, consultant members are eligible to receive referrals from the SplinterRock network and will be listed within the Consultant Directory on the SplinterRock web site.

Agent Membership



The agent program includes the features of the Consultant Membership but also provides an opportunity to earn greater commissions through full participation in the sales process. The agent program is for those technology consultants with the knowledge and experience needed to manage an opportunity from start to finish including assessment, quoting, ordering, provisioning and support.

An Invitation to Consultants

We have secured agreements for commissions participation with over 50 service providers. As a membership organization, we are able to secure high commission rates without minimum sales or referral commitments for our members, that are normally impossible for individual consultants or small consultant groups to attain.

The SplinterRock Business Model


SplinterRock is a consulting and technology brokerage firm specializing in the Information Technology and Telecommunications industries. Our goal is to build long-term relationships with our clients by understanding and assessing current and future needs and developing recommendations based on our findings. We typically work with a number of world-class vendors to present multiple options to our clients for consideration. We strive to find the best fit for our clients.

Typically, this type of analysis is quite expensive, but we are able to provide these services to our clients at no charge. We are able to do this because of the relationships we have with our vendors.

In exchange for bringing business to them, our vendors pay us monthly commissions based on what our customers purchase. Because commissions tend to be fairly standard across vendors, we can be objective and independent in our recommendations. In other words, our vendors pay us to help our customers find the right solutions. And now, via our Members Program for Consultants, they are paying us to help you build a passive recurring revenue stream for your business. We are very, very pleased to present your business with this opportunity!

As mentioned previously, commissions tend to be fairly standard but can vary depending on a number of variables. We are happy to disclose commission rates on vendor proposals so that you as a consultant can weigh this along with other decision-making criteria. All other considerations being equal, a vendor paying higher commissions will put more money in your pocket.

SplinterRock is not a service provider. We provide consulting services and act as a broker between the business customer and the actual vendor. Once an order is placed, the client will work directly with the selected vendor to install and support services. SplinterRock will continue to support the business customer with consulting services and is prepared to help facilitate the vendor support process if needed.

Our Target Market


Our target market is any medium to large sized business operating within United States territory. Since our business model is based on a percentage of sales, we invest most heavily in large opportunities.

Earn Recurring Revenue on Referrals


Basically, a simple referral works in this manner:

  • You connect SplinterRock with any businesses that are interested in technology support or services
  • We work with interested businesses to find services that fit their business through providers in our network
  • If the business chooses one of these solutions, the vendor pays a percentage of the service cost to SplinterRock on a monthly basis
  • SplinterRock will then pay out a share of this income to your business

20% of the amount received by SplinterRock will be paid out to your business on a monthly basis. This usually works out to be around 3% of the monthly service charge from a sale. As long as SplinterRock is paid a commission, your business will continue to receive a payment. Your business can expect to see revenue two to three months after a sale occurs and will continue to receive a percentage of this revenue as long as the customer continues to be serviced by the vendor.


Earn More Recurring Revenue as an Agent Member


Basically, an agent works in this manner:

  • You are actively working with your client to research and recommend services
  • SplinterRock helps you identify the best vendors for the client and provides quotes and support during the sales process
  • You as the consultant manage the opportunity and handle the presentations, submit paperwork for the sale and work with the vendor and client during provisioning
  • If the business chooses one of our proposed solutions, the vendor pays a percentage of the service cost to SplinterRock on a monthly basis
  • SplinterRock will then pay out a share of this income to your business

About 75% of the amount received by SplinterRock will be paid out to your business on a monthly basis. This usually works out to be around 10% of the monthly service charge from a sale. As long as SplinterRock is paid a commission, your business will continue to receive a payment. Your business can expect to see revenue two to three months after a sale occurs and will continue to receive a percentage of this revenue as long as the customer continues to be serviced by the vendor.


Earn Recurring Revenue by Referring Other Members to the Network


We want other technology consultants to benefit as well. If you refer another consultant to this program, we will give your business a 5% override on any business brought in through those you refer.


In Summary


  • Your organization can make 20% of SplinterRock commissions for any business you refer
  • Your organization can make about 75% of SplinterRock commissions for any services you actively manage and consult
  • Your organization can make 5% of SplinterRock commissions for any business that a consultant you refer generates

Become a SplinterRock Vendor


If you provide consulting services, we want to discuss the possibility of listing you as a consulting resource for our clients. This would include a free listing on our website with a description of your services, contact information and other information about your company.

In return, we request a 15% referral fee for any business referred to you either from our website or directly from one of our consultants. We also request a link back to our website from the home page of your company website (if you have one).

We are looking for consultants who

  • Primarily service businesses
  • Can leverage our services into their existing client base
  • Provide technology consulting services or complementary services (business health insurance, print services, web design, web marketing, traditional marketing, copywriting, graphic design, system integration, accounting, legal, etc)

Making the Program Work For You


The first step to success is becoming familiar with the types of services we offer so you know what you can offer to your clients and when it is appropriate to engage us. When you come on board, we will introduce you to our program, the services we offer, and prepare you with the information you will need to get started.

Depending on your current knowledge and experience, you may then be interested in attending training programs offered directly by each individual vendor. This will give you an opportunity to become better acquainted with specific vendors that may apply more to your client base.

If you know of other consultants that you know and trust, you can refer them to the program. Applicants will be reviewed by the services offered, location, experience and qualifications, customer base, and other factors.
